Connection pooling enables end users of a client application to share server resources. Multiple end users share a cached set of connection objects that provides access to Vantage. Connection pooling improves performance by eliminating the overhead associated with establishing a new connection to Vantage for each request submitted by a client application end user.
You cannot reset a connection to Vantage. Therefore, avoid changing the following session parameters during a pooled session (including trusted sessions), because the next user of the pooled connection inherits the changes.
