The Diagnostics Area contains detailed information about the execution status of the statements within a stored procedure, divided into a Statement Area and zero or more Condition Areas.

The Statement Area contains information about the execution of a statement in a stored procedure.

A Condition Area contains information about the successful, completion or exception condition that resulted from the execution of a statement.

You can use the GET DIAGNOSTICS statement to retrieve information about successful, exception, or completion conditions from the Diagnostics Area.
