Numeric literals may be entered in integer, decimal or scientific notation formats. When dragging a literal Number into a variable, the following tree element is created:
Variable Creation > Input > Variables: SQL Elements pane - Literals > Number
A default value of an integer 0 is provided, but can be changed via Properties. Double-click on Number (0) or highlight and click on the Properties button:

An integer, decimal or floating point literal value in scientific notation will be generated as necessary.
