On the Matrix dialog, click on INPUT.
-
Click on analysis parameters.
Matrix > Input > Analysis Parameters
-
On this screen, select:
-
Null Handling — Two options are provided for the handling of null values in the columns being analyzed.
-
Listwise Deletion — If the value of any column to be included in the matrix is NULL, the entire row is omitted during matrix calculations.
-
Replace With Zeros — Individual NULL values in the data are effectively replaced with zeros in the calculations. This option simply bypasses listwise deletion, the effect of which is mathematically equivalent to replacing NULL values with zero values, due to the nature of the calculations.
-
Matrix Width — Width of the matrix results. Width is the maximum number of select list items in each SQL statement.
-
Number of Connections — Number of threads or simultaneous connections to the data source. Multiple sessions may speed the SQL execution process.
-
Continue Execution (instead of starting over) — If a previously executed Matrix analysis was stopped, or failed after some portion of the matrix was built, this option will be enabled to allow you to begin the Matrix process at the point the analysis terminated.
