This operator is only available when connected to an Aster database.
The Encode operator encodes a string argument using the encoding type provided in the second argument. When dragging an Encode operator into a variable, the following tree element is created.
Variable Creation > Input > Variables: SQL Elements pane - String Functions > Encode
