PUT supports upgrades of software and the quick-switch between software environments using the Linux Version Migration and Fallback (VM&F).
Instructions for setting up VM&F can be found in the appropriate Field Installation Guide for Teradata Node Software.
Systems staged at the factory have VM&F installed and configured.
