The Set Teradata Startup operation can be used to change the database startup option on a Vantage system. This allows you to select whether or not Vantage should start automatically after one or more TPA nodes is rebooted. This operation is for maintenance only and should not be used while upgrading or configuring software on a Vantage system.
The Set Teradata Startup operation requires a configured installation of Vantage on one or more nodes. The operation does not work on nodes without Vantage installed.
The Set Teradata Startup operation allows you to select a group of nodes, set the database startup option on the selected nodes, and optionally reboot the nodes.
