- From the Tools menu, select Internet Options.
- Click Security.
- Make sure Trusted Sites is selected in the Select a zone to view or change security settings pane.
- Click Custom Level.
- In the Settings pane, select Enable for Scripting > Active scripting.

Click OK twice.
If you bring up PUT and see the error message "Your security settings do not allow Websites to use ActiveX controls installed on your computer. This page may not display correctly. Click here for options," you must change your Internet Explorer security setting to enable ActiveX controls.
